Iv had my new job for about 6 weeks. Working at Parmesan & pepper as the sous chef. Yes thats right... second chef already. And iv only been there 6 weeks!! I have my own specials too. And im designing the desert menu. This means i will be working alllllll the way through summer, and i haver to sacrifice some college time to work 5 days a week but its worth it because im so far ahead at college i could take the rest of the year off and still pass.

I love being a chef. I really do. The money isnt that great at the moment but in a few weeks il be getting a raise and then a few months after that. And i was looking at salaries in Paris for next year... the equivalent of £30k for a place i was offerd after Bocuse... £30k and i will be no older than 25. And it only gos up from there. Il tell you what i love the most... wearing the uniform and walking out of the kitchen to go to the bar and people look at you totally differently. Don't get me wrong its really hard work, and i have burns all up my arm but i still love it. At the moment im saving about £500 a month too, and i still go out a lot and see people loads. Aaanyway, college awaits me and it is fathers birthday today so i need to get cracking.
